It Costs Nothing

There’s not a person on earth that doesn’t need encouragement. Myself included. And it’s  incredible how the right person, with the right words can cause a heart to soar.  

In a world that’s so quick to criticise, to judge, to tear down—let’s be the kind of people who are quick to build up, to champion and to encourage.

The dictionary outlines the meaning of the word encouragement as this, ‘Give support, confidence, or hope to (someone).’

I do want to be that person—a someone who supports, a someone who instils confidence, a someone who infuses hope in another.

Creatives feel things deeply. So a little encouragement will go a long way. Creativity can be burdensome, but it’s a burden of the beautiful. Why not  a creative friend of yours and watch both their countenance and their art transform.
